editspot Launches in Chicago
Sunday, May 30, 2010 -- editspot, LLC partners with The Chicago Tribune to provide proprietary 'Spotlets' technology through job portal. The Chicago Tribune and editspot are providing free résumé websites to unemployed Chicagoans in an effort to help get people working again. The Chicago Tribune is working with editspot as part of a larger effort produced by the Tribune.

"editspot is extremely fortunate to be partnering with such a respected institution as The Chicago Tribune on this important initiative. Through the program we hope to help free the information of thousands of individuals from closed web communities and self-empower the individuals to brand and promote themselves to find work," states editspot CEO Ran Mullins.

Although the program begins in Chicago, Illinois there are plans to take national in coming months. "With the unemployment rates across the country still alarmingly high, we hope we can take some steps to get these unemployed individuals recognized and hired," Mullins said.
